About the Role
Located in Lobethal and reporting to the Bakery Supervisor, this role will be responsible to skill fully craft bakery items, ensuring each item is baked to its perfection. Key responsibilities include:
- baking a broad range of bakery items such as biscuits, desserts, yeasts, slice and pastries
- evaluate finished products for quality and consistency
- document details of the baked batches during each shift
- assist with periodic cleaning of the plant and equipment
- aid the general processing and packaging of baked goods
About You
You are passionate about baking and looking to further develop your career in the food industry. You will have supervising experience within a large-scale bakery production environment and a keen eye for detail with a focus on food safety and WHS in a production area.
You will also have:
- Certificate III in Bakery or relevant experience as a Baker in a large-scale food production
- ability to follow detailed instructions to prepare quality baked goods
- knowledge of core baking techniques and food preparation methods
- excellent attention to detail to maintain the quality and freshness of the products
- ability to thrive in a team-oriented production environment
- possess a working knowledge of adjusting commercial ovens
- sound understanding of Food Safety legislation, HACCP and SQF
For this role the following requirements must be satisfied prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate Food and Beverage:
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
