About the Role
This hands-on position is located at our Lobethal site and reports to the Bakery Operations Manager. Its focus is on working as a team to maintain production levels while ensuring superior outcomes and quality controls are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working as part of a team to produce a variety of bakery items, including cakes and cookies
- Product quality observation and testing
- General food processing and packaging
- General cleaning of plant and equipment
About You
You will be a person interested in baking who is wanting to further develop your career in the food industry. You could be new or returning to the workforce and looking to bring your strong work ethic and reliability to a supportive, community conscious organisation.
You will also have:
- Knowledge of food / bakery processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HACCP CODEX Alimentarius 2020
- Solid problem solving skills
- The ability to work a range of shifts including days, afternoons and weekends
For this role the following requirements must be satisfied prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate Food and Beverage:
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
