Bakery Production Supervisor
Join a team of baking professionals at our Lobethal site where we create home style baked goods that are distributed throughout Australia.
- Supervise and lead a team of up to 20 production workers

About the Role
This hands-on supervisory position is located at our Lobethal site and reports to the Food Safety and Quality Manager. Its focus is on managing people and production ensuring superior outcomes and quality controls are met while empowering the workforce through mentoring, guidance, and support.
Key responsibilities include:
- supervise the production of a variety of bakery items, including cakes and cookies
- oversee and optimise the production and storage processes of bakery products
- work collaboratively with quality assurance to proactively address and resolve any product non-conformance reports
- administer food safety protocols, conduct regular quality checks, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- promote a positive WHS&QA/Food Safety culture in the workplace
About You
You are passionate about baking and looking to further develop your career in the food industry. You will have supervising experience within a large-scale bakery production environment and a keen eye for detail with a focus on food safety and WHS in a production area.
You will also have:
- a qualification in baking with a knowledge of core baking skills
- proven effective communication and interpersonal skills within a diverse and multi-skilled workforce
- knowledge of HACCP CODEX Alimentarius 2020
- an understanding of how to interpret and resolve product non-conformance reports
- the ability to work a range of shifts including days, afternoons and weekends
For this role the following requirements must be satisfied prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate Food and Beverage:
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
